Ex- Doctor Faces Assault Charges Against Thirty-Eight Patients
Legal authorities report that a ex- physician stands accused of committing sexual assaults against 38 victims who were patients.
The Grave Allegations
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of dozens of acts of sexual assault – comprising acts against children younger than 13 – between 2017 to 2021.
One deputy chief CPS official stated, “Legal teams have worked at length to support a thorough and intricate investigation, meticulously examining the available evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
The Investigation
The charges come after what investigators described as a “detailed inquiry” into reported assaults at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
Spencer is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on 20 January.

Prosecutors outline the forty-five sexual offences he is charged with:
- Fifteen counts of assault.
- Seventeen counts of penetrative assault.
- Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- 3 counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen.
- One count of attempting to assault by penetration.
Authorities have asked anyone with concerns to get in touch with the relevant police force.
